Programs and Fees

Full Day – If you choose our Full Day program, your child attends school from morning into the afternoon 5 days a week (we do not offer a part time Full Day program). Sunrise’s operation hours are from 7AM until 6PM Monday through Friday. You can drop off your child between 7AM - 8AM but no later than 8:30AM (academics begin at 8:00AM, so if you want a three-hour academic period, your child needs to be dropped off by 8AM, however, 8:30AM is the latest we'll accept students) and pick up any time before 6PM. There are no additional fees for early morning drop off or extended day pick up. The academic school year runs from August 2008 through the end of June 2009. We are also open during the month of July with weekly rates because we are open year-round. Beginning August 2008, our Full Day program is $715/month.

Half Day – If you choose our Half Day program, your child attends school from morning until just before naptime Monday through Friday (we have a 5 day, 3 day, or 2 day option available, please see below). You can drop off your child between 7AM - 8AM but no later than 8:30AM (academics begin at 8:00AM, so if you want a three-hour academic period, your child needs to be dropped off by 8AM, however, 8:30AM is the latest we'll accept students) and pick up any time before 12PM. There are no additional fees for early morning drop off or extended day pick up. The academic school year runs from August 2008 through the end of June 2009. We are also open during the month of July with weekly rates because we are open year-round.

Half Day Options: 5 day, 3 day, or 2 day Programs – If you choose our 3 day or 2 day program, it is exactly like our regular 5 day Half Day program except for the days of the week your child attends. Beginning August 2008, our Two Day program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays only for $280/month. Our Three Day program is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only for $380/month. Our Five Day program is $535/month.

Enrollment Fees: There is a $150 Enrollment fee (one-time fee, per family) and $150 Materials Fee (annual). Unlike other schools, there are no annual registration fees, deposit, application fees, or waiting list fees.

Why should I enroll my child at Sunrise Montessori Preschool? The top three things cited by our parents that they value the most at Sunrise is our certified Montessori teachers, how well we treat our staff, and our low class sizes. Not only is Montessori certification a requirement of our teachers, several of our assistant teachers are working on their credentials or BA's. They truly enjoy working with children and it shows. Our ability to attract such incredible people is a direct reflection of what we do to let our teachers know how much we appreciate them. Our teachers receive higher than norm salaries, paid medical insurance, regular bonuses and other incentives. Lastly, we are not a daycare, therefore, we are not interested in overcrowding our classrooms. We have four classrooms with ratios of about 10:1 or lower, three are for full day students and one is for half day students.
