"I'd just like to express our greatest gratitude to you the staff for being so good with Joaquin during his time at Sunrise. You all made his transition into preschool so much easier and very enjoyable. Thank you for understanding him during his initial weeks of school. Ms. Jessica & Ms. Sara have been wonderful teachers. Very nurturing yet academically enriching. Their time and dedication to teaching and encouraging Joaquin to learn and explore all available in the classroom has far exceeded our expectations for a preschool. He has made wonderful and hopefully lifelong friendships at Sunrise as he heads to elementary -- A tribute I believe to the positive and nurturing environment that the school fosters. Thank you again for everything."

"Words truly can't express how grateful I am that a preschool like this exists. I thought that a place like this was a mythical unicorn that parents searched for, but never found. I'm lucky to say my family has found "the one". My daughter has been in their pre-primary class for approximately four months, and has truly blossomed mentally and socially. The staff and teachers there are beyond caring and concerned with EVERY student (as well as parent) that walks through their door. The curriculum and teacher to student ratio is outstanding, and way beyond my wildest expectations. The cleanliness there is amazing, which was very important to me. I can't say this enough... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Sunrise Montessori."

"I'm not sure I could rate this school as anything other than "World Class"...as that is what my child is offered, every day, a world class early education. From one small business owner to another...hats off for a fine job across the board. Its not only the parents that are treated with a great respect, but the children as well. To see my child's growth...daily, monthly and annually with and because of Sunrise, is one of the greatest gifts that I have been afforded as a parent. It is with my deepest gratitude that I thank you for your individual, authentic, classy, respectful and knowledgeable approach to our children and their early years!"

"New to Montessori, I did not what to expect when I was looking for preschool for my then-3-year-old. Sunrise Montessori outshined several others that I had visited. The director's welcoming manners with professionalism, a highly structured classroom and squeaky-clean school won my heart. I knew we made a right decision to enroll my daughter when she was coming home happy singing songs she learned and proud with work she did that day. While the Sunrise teachers knew how tactfully to introduce the language arts that my daughter didn't particularly care for, they would encourage math to the point where I felt there was no limit to where children at Sunrise could be led to, as long as children were ready. I believe the Sunrise Montessori curriculum is well-rounded. Besides strong academics, children learn good manners using china for lunch and practical skills like wrapping a present or changing photos in a photo frame. One might mistake Montessori for chaos with a bunch of preschoolers with "free choice". The truth is that the class is highly organized with a small 1:10 teacher-to-students ratio and exceptionally trained teachers who understand each student like their own. The Sunrise Montessori teachers know how to discover and encourage talents in each child. They believe in the potential that needs to be filled in every child. My now-kindergartener daughter was so fortunate to have started early education this way in this particular preschool."

"Our time with your school has come to a close, and the feeling is a bit bittersweet. We are thrilled to have Alexander joining his brother in elementary school, but sad to be leaving a quality school behind. As a father, my one true concern is that any organization just do right by my children. Sunrise has done that and gone above anything I would have dreamed of. The Sunrise staff is professional and caring, never minding to answer a quick question, just say hi or to speak in depth about an issue my son may have. Compound that with the amazing education the children get, it is plain to see that your staff is the best around. To that, I am constantly amazed at how the teachers are able to handle a myriad of tasks, personalities, parents while remain relaxed, focused, and patient. They are truly special people. The impact your teachers have on these children is far-reaching; I'm not sure if they realize it. Even though Aidan has been out of Sunrise for two years, he still loves coming in and talking to Ms. Jossie or Ms. Kelly. Alexander would often of Ms. Kelly all the time, saying "I love my favorite teacher Miss Kelly." A major difference exists between our two sons academically, one that we deal with constantly. Aidan is a very gifted child whose brain works differently than his brother’s and most other children. At Sunrise, Ms. Jossie did an amazing job of caring for his needs as a gifted child. When Aidan would come home, he would talk non-stop and grill us about the subjects he was learning and interested in. For Alexander, though he is a bright child, when he left the building the education stayed there; he would go home and be a kid and play. For so long we never heard anything from him about what he was learning. It was only during one-on-one meetings with Kelly that we found out that he was spelling his name, adding and subtracting, and even helping other students. The differences between Aidan and Alexander mirrored differences between their two teachers, but there is no doubt that Jossie and Kelly are amazing teachers. I think that Kelly quickly caught on that Heather and I like to stay informed about what is going on with Alexander in school. Often she would leave hand-written notes in his cubby informing us of problems or bathroom accidents. Additionally, I don’t think I’ve met a teacher more patient and upbeat. Thank you!"

"My Pearl is a totally different person since attending Sunrise. To say she is headstrong is an understatement. Her other school had no idea how to take her energy and turn it positive. Which is exactly what Sunrise has done. I am eternally grateful. Pearl has turned her boundless energy into the beginnings of a great citizen of the world. The diversity and understanding of children is unparalleled at Sunrise. Thank you so much!"

I am amazed at how good you all are at teaching children responsibility and accountability with a smile. You have a warm smile, making it very welcoming not only for children but for parents, too. "Finding the right pre-school for Abby was a task my husband and I took seriously. As parents, we believe that one of the best things we could do for our daughter was to put her in a pre-school that would give her the best foundation for learning. After all, it's in pre-school where children learn the basics. And we're glad we chose Sunrise Montessori. Abby started attending Sunrise two years ago as a Half Day student. Several days into the school year, whatever misconceptions we've previously had about the Montessori method were immediately corrected and erased. We now have a greater appreciation for the Montessori method. We love how the kids are "encouraged" to become independent thinkers and doers, be it in academics and the practical side of life. Abby often surprised us (still does!) with things she learned from school: from state capitals to addition to reading and writing to folding clothes and buttoning her shirts. :) The list just goes on and on and everyone is just great! We love Ms. Jessica and Ms. Norma. A teacher has to love what she does and love the kids under her care to be effective. And we feel that love everyday, especially Abby! We couldn't have chosen a better school for her. Our gratitude goes to Sunrise's administrative staff as well, Ms. Shannon, Ms. Sarah and Ms. Lara! Abby always looks forward to going to school. No matter how sleepy she might still be in the morning, she ALWAYS wants to go to school. What parent wouldn't want that? Thank you, Sunrise! You rock!"

"Our son, Sidney, is a student in Ms. Jossie's class. Ms. Jossie has been great to our son: she is very kind and loving with him. She always welcomes us with a smile on her face, before and after class. She gives us regular feedback on our child and is always available, when need be. Ms. Jessica is great with Sidney as well. She is caring and loving. This past Christmas, when Sidney was sick in the hospital, Ms. Jessica called to talk with us in the hospital, to check on our son. This gesture meant a lot to us, and confirmed that our son is in good hands. We are also very satisfied with Sidney's progress thus far. My husband and I bought a world map to teach the kids Geography. To our surprise, Sidney already knew his continents and states and was able to point them out on the map. He knows and recognizes numbers letters, colors and much more. We are very pleased with our son’s teachers and the direction of the school. Our daughter Elissa is a past student. She is currently excelling in kindergarten."

"There is only one word that can describe our experience at Sunrise-Montessori and that is WONDERFUL. The teachers are wonderful, the director and asst director are wonderful, the school overall is wonderful. Our daughter, Julia, started at Sunrise Montessori in the Tue/Thu half day program. We were really concerned about the initial separation since she only spoke and understood Korean and was potty trained for about a month. But the staff and children at Sunrise Montessori have been wonderful with her. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Norma are so patient and nurturing that after only a handful of visits Julia stopped crying during the morning drop off and actually looked forward to going to school. They understand that each child is different and tries to be sensitive to the individual’s needs and learning curve. We could not have asked for a better pair of teachers. The other children have also been so welcoming of Julia, guiding her and comforting her when she became upset after having a few “accidents”. Finally, Sunrise Montessori could not be so great without strong leadership which is displayed from director, Sarah, and asst director, Lara. Not only do they try to keep up-to-date with the educational needs of children but they are “hands on” all the time everything from speaking with parents to playing with the children and preparing snacks. Directors from other Montessori programs we had visited were very “administrative” and did not bother to be involved with the teachers or students or even touring parents. Sunrise-Montessori is definitely the school for our daughter and will be for our son when he turns three."

"My wife and I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for all you have done for Lauren and us. I am in awe at how much Lauren has grown both emotionally and intellectually since she started at Sunrise last year. While I would like to take credit as her parent, I know that much of it is due to you and your incredible staff. Your program has taught Lauren to refine her motor skills, number and letter recognition, organization, and how to spell her name. These lessons have resulted in a great sense of pride for her. After school Lauren is often tracing letters; happily dancing around and singing songs she learned in school; and sharing with us newfound “life skills” such as cooking, folding laundry, and sweeping. Please relate to Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica our sincerest gratitude for a job well done. While Lauren has always been imaginative, Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica have encouraged Lauren to pursue topics she is passionate about and to explore and learn about many other subjects. Lauren adores Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica and speaks of them often. Even though Lauren is my special princess, I have seen Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica treat all the children royally. Ms. Jossie and Ms. Jessica have a keen understanding and concern for their students, always putting their needs first, and the children respond to this treatment positively. I am particularly impressed with their ability to nurture their students while keeping the classroom calm and orderly. I am sure the atmosphere they foster allows the students to feel secure, concentrate, which brings greater opportunities for learning. Your excellence, dedication, and love are make Sunrise an exceptional place and a natural extension of the family. We could not have asked for a better start on Lauren’s educational journey."

"We have been delighted by our son Joshua's experience at Sunrise Montessori. He feels cared about and attended to, he is excited about learning, and he challenges himself at home by practicing new concepts (the continents are a favorite). We hear Joshua singing the songs he has learned in class...days of the week, for example...which he also enjoys teaching us to sing! Having a group of friends to interact with each day - how the children are taught to view one another - continues to be beneficial for his socialization as a caring, sharing, engaged citizen of the world. Joshua was going on three when he began school at Sunrise, and it was a difficult decision for us to place him in school at such a young age versus continuing to have him at home. We researched the Montessori Method and philosophy, interviewed seven Montessori schools in the area, and are delighted with our choice to enrich Joshua's life with the experience provided for him at Sunrise. Our first parent-teacher conference far exceeded any expectation we might have had regarding in-depth feedback about Joshua's learning strengths and plans for his continued learning. The level of engagement with him as an individual was stunning and incredibly informative. This kind of attention to who Joshua is and how he is developing is pervasive...from assistant to teacher to administrator...and we couldn't ask for a better place for our son to be each day. At day's end, he even wishes to stay longer sometimes! Thank you for all that you do for Joshua and in creation of an encouraging, enlightening, peaceful, caring environment of learning and socialization for all children who attend. We are delighted to be able to offer our son this wonderful early childhood enrichment experience."

His teachers are truly dedicated to their profession, the children they teach and because of them, Hayden enjoys learning. "My daughter loves her school so much, she gets upset when she finds out it's the weekend! She never felt that way about school before. "Following my child's first week at Sunrise, he was telling me about the seven continents and saying that his peanut butter sandwich crust resembled Antarctica. Later that week, I purchased a USA puzzle (coinciding with class instruction) and the following week he knew all of the states and their capitols. He could even identify a state by it's shape from behind when another classmate held up a piece of a USA puzzle and inquired about it. Needless to say, I have no regrets about my decision to enroll my son at Sunrise. He's LEARNING; he's becoming more self-confident/reliant; the ENTIRE staff is always courteous, supportive, upbeat and professional (not just his teachers); and the school is extremely clean and well-maintained -- he's only had one minor stomach ailment since he started, and we survived cold and flu season with no missed school days. My son and I only wish that he didn't have to leave Sunrise to attend public school next fall; because he wants "to stay at Sunrise forever," and, of course, "Ms. Kelly and Ms. Melissa will miss me...""

"Sunrise Montessori's curriculum is a remarkable hands-on, interactive learning experience. The teachers are devoted to their profession, consistently facilitating and nurturing the 'whole child.' They keep impressive records on each child's progress - his/her strengths and challenges, including actual strategies to use to excel and improve in both.

Additional learning opportunities especially in Spanish have been extremely helpful to our family as a whole. Our daughter teaches us! She has also enjoyed participating in Gigglebytes and Soccor Shots. Our family is extremely pleased with our daughter's overall progress. With no immediate family living near us, Sunrise has become our extended family who is truly helping our child grow up great. We're forever grateful."

"Sunrise Montessori is Round Rock's best-kept secret! My son has learned so much in just one year. I actually chose another Montessori school prior to enrolling my son at Sunrise, who had convinced me that my 4 year old was behind because he was not writing (so much for abiding by the Montessori concept of everyone learning at their own pace and through their own interest). Well, within four short months at Sunrise, my son was writing everything and loving it. Ms. Julie is a great teacher who takes time to understand the children's individual needs and interests. My son had taken a special interest in the presidents. He is now able to name the first 10 presidents in order and knows factual information about some of our prominent presidents, including our living presidents. This concept was extended into her math lesson, so the children are even aware of what presidents are on our bills and coins. My son was having some social issues that were affecting his performance and the performance of the other children. Through positive reinforcement and good teacher-parent-administrative relations, we were able to cultivate my son's social skills. When others were ready to give up, Sunrise was willing to go the extra mile and I will be forever grateful."

"We have been amazed by the progress Will has made in reading and writing. When he started at Sunrise, we were told he would most likely be reading by age 4. I didn't think he would read beyond 'cat' and 'ball,' but now he can sit down and read a whole book! The teachers have been so patient with him, especially on the mornings when he's feeling a little standoffish. No matter what his mood in the morning, when I pick him up he's playing and laughing with his friends. It has been great to be at a place where most of the kids have been for years, and where you can really get to know the staff and parents. We'll miss Sunrise when Will starts kindergarten this fall, but we know he's ready, academically and emotionally, because of his time at Sunrise."

"Let me start by saying I was initially wary of Montessori simply because I was ill-informed of the teaching methods. My granddaughter started at Sunrise in September 2008, her grandfather and I could not be more excited. Since September my granddaughter's knowledge has grown by leaps and bounds. Not only is she capable of reading simple readers the "Bob Books", and add single digit numbers up to 10. Her desire to continue to learn is wonderful. Miss Julie is a phenomenal teacher and my granddaughter adores her. It is my sincere hope that Miss Julie will remain at Sunrise throughout my granddaughter's tenure there. The support staff, Miss Sarah and Miss Lara, as well as all of the other teachers are always nice and helpful. I am always greeted by name when I come to school. If I have a question, Miss Sarah or Miss Lara are always there to answer a question or concern. To the staff of Sunrise and Miss Julie in particular, thank you for everything you are doing."

"Our son is very shy, so we looked around for a preschool that would be nurturing and educational. When we went for a school tour, our son had a very serious look and said nothing. But as soon as we got in the car, he said he loved it and was ready to start right away. He's learned so much and loves his teachers and classmates. He created an exercise manual for all of us at home and we were curious to know where he got the idea. It looked a bit like yoga- so we asked and found out they had some fun with yoga at school. He enjoys his school so much that even when we moved to Taylor, we decided to keep taking him to "his" school. I believe Sunrise Montessori is one of the best preschools in this entire area."

"I first found out about Sunrise when I had second thoughts about enrolling my daughter in another Montessori school. I was scheduled to have her start the following Monday but something did not feel right. So I called Sunrise to learn more and ease my feelings. When I called for information the owner picked up my call. She was kind knowledgeable and instead of talking me out of this other school, she told me what Sunrise was about. I knew after speaking to her that Sunrise was where I wanted my daughter to go. We had to put her on a waiting list for a little while but I could not be happier with my choice. Miss Lara & Mrs. Lisa were my daughters first teachers and could not have been nicer. Miss Lara has been promoted to administration and is always so kind. I have no complaints. Instead of worrying about my daughter when I am at work, I know she is with great people learning and she is happy as well. My husband and I were driving in the car a little while after my daughter started and she was singing the cutest songs. I looked at my husband and just listened with delight. She was singing, a song about the continents, the solar system, and many more. Thanks, Sunrise, for being such a great environment to send our daughter."

The variety of learning experiences available is amazing, the class sizes and teacher credentials are great, and the thoughtful curriculum is perfect for a bright, curious child. The staff is so wonderful with all the kids, I immediately feel that warmth when I walk through the door in the morning. We believe in the Montessori approach to children's learning and have seen both of our children demonstrate new skills and knowledge since attending Sunrise. After researching and visiting several Montessori schools, I found Sunrise and from the moment I walked in to tour, I knew it was special. That was June 2007, and six months later, I know I made the right decision. Trevor is flourishing and learning so much AND having a lot of fun. His teachers are caring, patient and knowledgeable. "After much searching for the right preschool, I toured Sunrise Montessori. It was full of fun, light, cleanliness and love. This is where I wanted my son to be. It was love at first sight for Parker. His first day dawned bright and clear and... not once did I hear, "I don't want to go to school." I picked him up that first day and he was full of joy and excitement and wanted to share his day with me. Many times. Then over dinner he showed me the sign language he'd learned that day. That brought tears to my eyes... Was this school as wonderful as I hoped and dreamed?? Only time can tell.

It has been a week now and he not cried once, but was actually disappointed it was the weekend and couldn't go to school. The quality of instruction, the nurturing environment, the clean and well ordered facilities, and the sense of fun has made Parker enthusiastic for learning at his "brand new school." I have noticed he now struts around the place like he belongs."

"My daughter, Gabrielle, goes part time 8:30-noon everyday Monday through Friday. I have never had my kids in care before, so this was big for me and I'm quite comfortable with Sunrise Montessori. The teachers are nice and very good with Gabby. Everyday she comes home talking about what she did all morning, what songs she sang, and what her friends did. She looks forward to going to school everyday. She is definitely learning how to share better and interface with the other kids. She also seems to follow directions better and her listening skills have improved. Gabby loves "circle time" and when it is her turn to pick out a song. They let Gabby do a lot of hands on things and they know exactly what she likes and needs. It is a perfect place for Gabby, and my husband and I are pleased with our decision to place her here. I am also happy that her schedule includes many academics in the morning, which is best for her. It's nice to know my daughter is in good hands at Sunrise Montessori."

"I was eager and excited to have my children in a Montessori learning environment. However, when I found Sunrise Montessori, I found much more than just a Montessori school. All schools are not created equal. At Sunrise the environment was cheerful, happy and nurturing. The classrooms are FULL of activities that would challenge my girls. I found it a perfect place where my girls could grow, explore, and learn. The staff at Sunrise has proven to be the best I have encountered in any preschool environment. It's almost a year later and my worries are no longer there. Marcus has grown and matured a lot in this past year, becoming more independent and self-sufficient. He loves all his friends and his teacher. Best of all, he not only knows the general basics like numbers and letters, but has "wowed" us by knowing the states and their capitals. "Ian started at Sunrise in February of 2007. For about a year prior to that, he was in a small (4-6 children) in-home daycare. We chose to enroll him at Sunrise for three reasons: to provide more social interaction with children his age and older; to lay the foundation for what we hope will be a successful academic future; and to expose him to the Montessori methods. What we have gotten is SO MUCH MORE! Not only has Sunrise fulfilled those initial requirements, the staff has done it in a caring, thoughtful and supportive manner. Sure, there are occaisional hiccups along the way, but it is truly a partnership between us and Ian's teachers and the school's directors - working together to maximize his potential!"

"THANK YOU for everything you've done for Evan! We are so proud that Evan has been enrolled since Day 1 of Sunrise being open. Thank you for working with us when Evan had challenging days. I put together a small bag of arts and crafts goodies for the teachers with my thanks and love."

"My husband and I chose Montessori in general because we liked the philosophy behind it....the freedom to let the kids be independent and learn something at the same time. Sunrise Montessori has been a good fit for our daughter. The teachers and staff are great....they really take the time with the children and they really care. Our daughter is excited to go to school in the morning and that gives my husband and I peace of mind; knowing that we made the right decision for her."

"Skyler has been with Sunrise since it first opened in September of 2006. We have been so pleased and could not imagine her going elsewhere. The teachers and staff have been so supportive and truly, truly caring. Occasionally she will do or say something unexpected from a 3 year old and I will ask where she heard or learned it and she will say, "At school." And it's not just her level of "academic" knowledge that amazes me, but also the day to day behavioral interactions. Saying please, thank you and yes (vs. yeah) are all things we emphasize at home but are also carried over at school. Of course our children are always "perfect angels" in our own eyes but we all know and experience true toddler behavior. The teachers and staff at Sunrise have been very instrumental and supportive during the not so angelic periods as well as with the growing needs of our children (hiccups in potty training, etc). I think it's because they recognize each child as an individual yet at the same time remain focused on the class as a whole. It's an immense task they execute very well. I'm also very pleased with how Sunrise takes care of their teachers. Not only is Sunrise a great place for our children but also a great place to work. Thank you for all you do and will continue to do."

"I wanted to share how much your program has meant to us. My son, Ty, has thrived while in the care of his teachers. I can't begin to tell you the vast changes in him in the six months we have been with you. When we made the switch from traditional daycare to your school, we had no idea how great the difference would be. Walking into the classroom was a wake up call for me. It was so peaceful. Though the children were working and playing together, the usual choas I was used to was missing. I have seen that everyday now for six months and it still astounds me. It seems that each day Ty comes home with new phrases, words, songs, art and stories that cause my husband and I to turn to each and shake our heads. We are amazed at his vocabulary and his sincere caring for other people. At dinner last night I was chilly and must have made the "burr.." sound. My soon to be 4 year old got up from the table, got his coat and brought it to me and said, "Here Mommy, this will keep you warm." The other day he asked me who I thought this snowman was. I replied Frosty and he said, "Good guess, Mommy!" He praised me! These amazing moments happen more and more, and I couldn't be happier. The staff has been wonderful and so caring. We have never doubted for a minute that we made the right decision. I only wish we had made the move sooner. Of course then we might not realize what a blessing it is to have him there! Thank you so much for everything you do for our family."

"I wanted to let you know that we love your school!!! My son has been in daycare since he was seven weeks old and I have never felt so good about leaving him as I do now. At other schools, he has cried when we have left. We haven't had that problem one day that he has gone to Sunrise Montessori. He is excited to go to school everyday. I love that whenever we walk into the classroom there is never chaos, activities are organized and controlled. I think that we will be happy with our son in your care for a long, long time."

"Sunrise Montessori has been a true blessing to our family. We recently moved to the area from San Antonio in which Loren was attending a very similar type of school to Sunrise. When we first moved here we put Loren in a traditional childcare that stated that they are an "award winning preschool." That couldn't have been further from the truth. We found within a week of Loren attending that she was extremely bored and unchallenged. This created such a difference in her attitude. When we were in San Antonio she would come home and entertain herself, always smiling and happy, singing, and with tons of new knowledge, politeness, respect, and art work. But over just a week at a "daycare preschool" Loren would come home with a bad attitude, not wanting to go, telling me how much she didn't like her teachers and the other kids, and all she wanted to do was watch TV. This was not at all like the Loren I knew. This put us on a mission to find a better alternative learning environment. We then looked into the Montessori teachings and philosophy and found Sunrise Montessori. After visiting a few different Montessori schools in the area, our minds were made up the minute we walked into Sunrise. We knew without a doubt that this was the best place for Loren! We have been at Sunrise since August 2007 and it has been truly awesome. It is so homey and clean, and the staff is incredible!! They are great with the kids, caring, clean, and extremely personable. Loren loves going to school everyday and now the dreaded mornings are full of excitement. She is back to her old self again, singing everyday, polite, respectful, happy and smiling, full of great conversation and knowledge, as well as the art work. We are amazed by her everyday when she tells us about the stuff she is learning, for example: germs and good hygiene, geography, as well as not talking to strangers. Sunrise proves to me on a daily basis that we have made the right decision for Loren and it's funny because sometimes we forget that we are talking to a 3½ yr old. We also have another child and even though she only 5 months old, she is already in line to attend Sunrise Montessori when she turns 3. Thank you to all of the staff at Sunrise Montessori for making us feel so welcome and comforted knowing that our Loren is getting a great foundation and is in great hands on a daily basis."

"Our daugther, Isa, has attended Sunrise Montessori since it's opening in September of 2006 and she is a thriving, happy child who loves to learn. She had attended regular daycare programs and was doing fine but we felt that she was not being challenged enough in the standard daycare setting and the constant turnover of care takers in her daycare was concerning. Once I started reading about the Montessori teaching method I knew that this was the type of environment I wanted her to be in. The self-motivated learning approach and fostering of independence, respect and care for others and the environment are all part of the Montessori method that made perfect sense to me. After touring several Montessori schools in the area, I was extremely happy to find Sunrise. Unlike the other Montessori schools, it seemed very homey, non-intimidating, and clean. I immediately felt comfortable leaving my daughter. The quality of care and education is outstanding and all the teachers and staff at Sunrise are phenomenal. It is truly amazing to see a room full of 3 and 4 year-olds in a quiet setting and each child is engaged in an educational activity working with the Montessori materials. I also love the wide variety of extra curricular activities in the afternoons from computer class to music and dance or Spanish. Our decision to enroll her at Sunrise gets validated daily as she shows off new words, phrases, songs, numbers, letters or witty remarks. She has blossomed into a happy, smart, confident and caring person. But the biggest validation is that going to school is fun for her and a deep love for learning is the best foundation we could ever want for her."

"At Ryan's soccer practice tonight, my barely 3 year old Emmy spontaneously started singing the states and capitals song...I was so impressed by how much she knew! She must know half of the song by heart, as well as the Continents song...Honestly, I was speechless at first...two other moms sitting near me were thoroughly impressed as well. One asked me how I got her to memorize all of that, and I told her I had never heard her sing this before today...I also told her she learned it at preschool! Of course, being a mom, I think my daughter is intelligent, but I am so thankful and impressed by all y'all are teaching her!!! Thanks!!!"

"Mornings are so hectic and I am rarely on time. And in the afternoons I just want to grab my kiddo and go spend time with her, so having a moment to stop and say thank you is near impossible. I have noticed a difference in my child since coming to Sunrise Montessori. She has grown so much in so many areas of life. She is smart, and sensitive and has a complete awareness of the world we live in. As a working mom I am grateful for not only the academics at Sunrise, but also the life lessons the children learn there. My child can now write her name, name most of the continents as well as the states and their capitals, is beginning to read, and has the proper etiquette to say "Excuse me, may I have more water please" at a restaurant when we are eating out. She is only 3 1/2 years old. As a parent I can only take partial credit for some of her knowledge and accomplishments. But I can take full credit for choosing the right school. Thank you for not letting me and my child down. We are proud to be Sunrise Montessorians. I just needed to let you all know that we are very happy here, even if we don't always take the time to let you know. Thank you for taking good care of my daughter."

"We can't wait to get your emails all week! We love hearing what the kids are doing in their classes. My entire family gets copied and share the excitement of the kids daily learning. Pictures are a bonus!!! Love them. We are so happy our kids are at your school. All of the teachers and staff have made the transition a positive experience. Madeline is happily singing Ms. Kelly's songs at home, spelling the months off her calendar, and "reading" books to her toys. Grayson is saying excuse me, please and getting more independent with daily life. When we peek in on him he is engaged and happy. Wow! Wonderful! And many thank you's to you, the teachers and the staff!!"
